Our candles are paraffin-free which offers a slower, cleaner and more ven burn than other waxes.

Why choose soy/coconut wax?

Paraffin wax (the most commonly used wax in candle making), emits toxic chemicals when burned. Paraffin candles release dangerous pollutants that can become harmful to humans with repeated exposure. Paraffin wax is a petroleum-based wax that is neither sustainable nor eco-friendly, as it is derived from oil refineries. Whereas soy and other vegetable-based waxes produced no toxic chemicals when burned. Soy wax is also renewable and biodegradable, making it the ideal option for candle making! We add a small amount of coconut wax to improve scent throw and create a slow even burn.

Our candles are made with a blend of 100% (non-GMO) soy and coconut wax. The soy/coconut wax blend is a natural, non-toxic, biodegradable and renewable/sustainable resource. Our wax is also phthalate free, fair trade, 100% American made, plastic free.

Fragrance oils vs essential oils

Our candles are made with the highest quality fragrance oils on the market. What is the difference between fragrance oils and essential oils? Fragrance oils are synthetically derived oils whereas essential oils are derived from plants and such. Essential oils are often applied onto the skin or ingested as a form of therapy. However, fragrance oils should not be ingested or applied directly to the skin without proper dilution and do not have medicinal qualities. Our fragrance oil is of premium quality and ecologically manufactured in the USA and are phthalate-free, whereas essential oils are expensive to source and purchase, often resulting in low quality oils from unsustainable sources.

Our boxes are 100% recycled paper as well as our packing tape, and all paper used in our products are biodegradable. Our candle vessels are also sustainable as they can be repurposed into a container for whatever you want after your candle is gone!

We use only the highest quality of sustainable material in our candles that result in phthalate free, eco-friendly and fair-trade products.
